A member of EuraTechnologies' Supervisory Board since 2017, Michel Colin represents the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL), a key shareholder of the company. Mayor of Lannoy and Vice-President of the MEL, he is responsible for risk control, risk management, and financial transparency. With experience serving on the governance boards of several MEL-affiliated entities (such as EuraCréative, Euralille, Soreli, and Ville Renouvelée), he has closely followed EuraTechnologies' development for many years.
His election, proposed by the MEL and unanimously approved during the April 10 meeting, was therefore a natural step. His longstanding involvement with EuraTechnologies and in-depth understanding of both public and private ecosystems make him a strategic asset in supporting the startup and innovation hub’s growth.
At the same time, Marion Gautier, Deputy Mayor of Lille, has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board by the City Council, representing the City of Lille, succeeding Martine Aubry. As Delegate for ecological transition, finance, and digital transformation, she is well-versed in EuraTechnologies’ ecosystem, having co-founded the startup Wavely there in 2016. Her background—combining public service, entrepreneurial experience, and tech expertise—adds great relevance to this appointment.
Lastly, Brice Farineau, Director of Regional Action for Hauts-de-France at EDF, has been appointed to replace Mathias Povse, who has moved on to other responsibilities. In his role as censor, EDF—an active partner in the ecosystem—can continue to engage with the Board’s activities as a strategic stakeholder. Brice Farineau brings valuable expertise in regional development and energy innovation.
