Description: The UnicornQuest project aims to create entrepreneurial ecosystems by promoting, attracting and retaining start-ups with the potential to become unicorns (“to-be-unicorns”), so that they can prosper in accordance with the principles and values of the European Union, such as respect for human rights, freedom, democracy and equality. This project arises from the need to reduce the exodus of to-be-unicorns and unicorns that have been felt in Europe, and which results in losses, namely in job creation and intellectual property. As such, the project focuses on study, learning and sharing activities between and within regions and on the study of real cases of success, which will allow to outline strategies to improve regional policies related to the competitiveness of SMEs and the retention and attracting entrepreneurial talent.
